Shahira, ovens certainly vary, so it might have taken longer than 12 minutes for you (and it will take a minute or two longer if you're baking from frozen), but the last instruction is important: that the cookies should not look done when they come out of the oven, since they'll firm up as they cool. They're much better when underbaked than overbaked and crispy. I'm curious, how long did you bake yours and did you like the final product?
