I want to make the "Fusion" short ribs recipe 143 for Christmas. Can I finish them in a slow cooker instead of in the oven, I do not have a large

enough dutch oven. Can not find great pepper corns, bought Tellicherry @ Fairway, but not that wonderful. Thanks!
