Frozen berries for pie

I can never remember if frozen berries, fruit, etc. should be put into a pie frozen or thawed. Can someone help? Am in pie-baking mode.

ATL - I always thaw mine and macerate in sugar and lemon juice. I'm so tired of cooking right now, my hat's off to you. Happy baking!

Yes frozen is just as fine
