Baked Beans

If you ever want to freeze a simply-cooked bean, remember to freeze them in their bean liquor (cooking liquids). Your baked beans come readymade for freezing in all their saucy goodness.

Beans freeze beautifully. I freeze them in secure, 2c. containers, right along with my stocks. Do it! They'll be a little gift to your furture self.

I never have, but think they'd do well frozen.
