Can you? Yes. Should you? NO!! You will end up with something slimey and brown rather than green and buttery. Bad idea.

Even puréed avocadoes get watery, I find.

You can puree avocadoes for dips, guacamole, soup etc., but otherwise whole, cubed, diced do not hold up well at all.
