After following the above instructions, rinse under cold water to cool and let sit in cold water for about 15 minutes - this will prevent the gray coloring on the yolk from happening.

Do the same but for 10 minutes. USe medium eggs because they are less expensive.

Put eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat and once the water reaches a fu rolling boil shut the stove off, put a lid on the pot, and let it sit for 12-15 mins depending on how soft you want your yolk (I.e. 12 mins gives you slightly soft yolks and 15 mins gives you fully cooked yolk)
