I agree with Hillarybee. Also - "how much" in weight and volume are different amounts. How many nuts equal how much meal depends on how fine you grind those almonds.

To make any significant amount of almond meal, you are going to need to start with at least 1/2 lb (or 8 oz) of almonds. 5 almonds might not be more than a tablespoon of meal.
