Pegeen is right! I always make more chili than necessary and immediately put about half in the freezer in small containers for those nights you just don't feel like cooking!
3 days if your refrigerator stays pretty cold (you don't open and close it 100 times a day). Chili freezes really well so you could just freeze it in smaller containers and use some containers when you need them.
