Hi Logan - Most of the measurements are listed, but for the ones that are missing, as you start reading down through the recipe, you'll see that you start with 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger and 1 tablespoon sugar. There isn't a specific amount at the top, because later on (in steps 5 & 7), you're tasting and adjusting as necessary for more ginger, sugar, and/or lemon juice.
