what do you think about adding bacon fat to lamb stew? maybe the 2 meats dont mix well flavor wise?

My humble opinion is not to add bacon fat. My parents raise lamb meat and the stews usually have plenty of fat. I would use herbs to add flavor instead. What are you including in your lamb stew?
Sounded good to me. I did a quick Google and found quite a few lamb stew recipes that call for bacon. I think that it will impart another layer of flavor.
