Consider that 20 people might have 20 different likes and dislikes, so....why not make a little salad bar !
A couple large bowls of greens, then a few smaller containers of salad additions: niblet corn, chick peas, sliced carrot, slivered onion, raisins or craisins, croutons, nuts, cheese; and, a couple different offerings of dressings - one vinegrette, one creamy.
That way everyone gets exactly what they like.
We have a regular Thursday night gathering with a group of friends (depending on who is in town). Our favorite in the summer is a salad bar when everyone brings what they want, in addition to the greens. In addition to what you have listed, we include olives, anything pickled, cucumbers, peppers, avocados, boiled eggs, meats. Options are endless!
