freezing, defrosting and refreezing bordelaise sauce

I made a bordelaise sauce yesterday (Wednesday). I have frozen half but realised I'd like to add more ingredients, that were missed, into it. Can I refreeze after I've defrosted the sauce, added & cooked more ingredients? Thank you for your help

Just make a little note to yourself that will remind you what you need to add. :)

I would just wait until it's time to use it and add the ingredients then. Will that work?
