Help! What happens to a curd if you don't add butter?
I made cranberry curd to top shortbread for a bar dessert and completely forgot to add the butter before putting it in the oven. What will become of my curd?! Still in the oven and looks okay. Will taste be effected?

You should be okay. The curd won't be as rich, but it shouldn't be a disaster by any means.
