I have grapeseed oil in my refrigerator that expired 2 years ago but it does not smell rancid, can I still use it?

You probably won't get sick, but the quality will surely be degraded, particularly if this was opened, and exposed to oxygen. I hate to waste food just as much as the next guy, but I'd try a little first in whatever use you have for it-just to make sure you don't ruin your end product.

Oils do not have "expiration" dates, they have "best by" dates. Two years is a while, but if your oil doesn't smell bad, and it tastes okay, go ahead and use it.

Here's a great reference for "best by dates." You may have seen that Food52er drbabs cited it in a question about walnut oil earlier today http://www.eatbydate.com/other/condiments/how-long-does-oil-last/
