cherrystone clams

Making clam sauce for pasta. Just dumped 4 cans of whole maine cherrysone clams in sauce. Then I read can, says rinse first. Yikes. sauce ok? Just possible shells?

You'll be fine. Just watch out for a little grit and shell fragments.
