Once you opened the milk caned, it uses another 3-4 days. After this period, you notice a slight difference in its smell. As the day passes by, it starts producing a strong smell. This specifies that milk gets spoiled. No need to use that, just throw it.

PS although various sites (Still Tasty, Eatbydate) recommend against freezing, saying the defrosted product will be watery, I find in practice that small amounts frozen a month or two work well in soups, sauces & smoothies.
