If I purchase the one gallon Kombucha kit now for a Christmas gift will keep until then?

The product information states that "If you don't plan to brew your kombucha right away, refrigeration of the culture is preferable for safe keeping (but not required)." I would check with customer service for peace of mind though.

It definitely will. Do you mean you are giving the whole kit as a gift or are you asking if the Kombucha brew that you bottle will be given as gifts?
