Asian beef stew crock pot help?!

The recipe in my cook book is for a 3 1/2 quart crockpot but i have a 6 quart i just want to no how much should i dubble the recipe to make this in the size i have.


1 pound beef stew meat
1/2 pound asparagus
20 baby carrots
1/2 cup dry sherry
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoon dark sesame oil
2 tablespoon grated ginger
4 cloves of garlic minced
2 teaspoon chinese five-spice powder

Yes, I would double the recipe. It's really important to follow the recipe's requirements for size when using a slow cooker. There are times when it doesn't matter and the recipe will usually make that clear, but in the case of a stew, it would be spread too thin in your slow cooker. Luckily, that stew will freeze well.
