Ok ladies. I I have a question for you. When I use pumpkin puree to make my pumpkin spice syrup, most of the pumpkin cannot go through the strainer, leaving me with very little syrup. My question is this. What can I add to thin out the pumpkin yet still keep its flavor? Seems like I waste too much of the puree. Any advise. Thanks

You can cook it on the stovetop on low heat to evaporate some of the water content and not losing the flavors.

Depends on what you are going to use it for. I would suggest adding some cornstarch to thicken it for a pudding or pie.

Yes, still use it. Try straining it on cheesecloth or over a fine mesh strainer to get rid of some of the liquid. Happens to me often because pumpkins water content varies.
