Are Tassimo hot chocolate T-discs, vacuum sealed, in a box in heavy plastic still okay to use w/ Best By of aug 2014?

Hi, Lindsay[Jean. That is the most logical thing to do. I thought about it, but I am not a coffee drinker, nor have I ever tried this brand of coffee. So all I could do would be to see if it smelled or tasted "off." I had hoped not to have to open a package to do such a test.
