Many recipes say to use chocolate mixed with cocoa, powdered sugar, and salt, im not sure i should do that with melts. help!!

My vote is no. I've never found a candy melt that I think tastes good, so I wouldn't want to use them as the base for a hot chocolate spoon. If you eat a melt or two and think it tastes good, then it would be worth a shot. I think it would work in place of chocolate, I'm just worried the hot chocolate wouldn't be very good.
