I want to use rose water to flavour a marmalade. The one I have says it is for skin care - the ingredients are rose petal extracts. can this be used for food especially as I sell my goods

Agree with @Caroline, please read the label and make sure that the rose water is not intended "for external use only" if you plan to use it in food. Other things the label could contain is "food grade" (in which case, it is ok to use in food and in beauty products).

I have by mistakely used rose water in food and I checked this comment now...it does reflects for external use. Will there be any side effects?

they should be the same! just double check the ingredients list and the labels. as long as it says "culinary rosewater" or something similar, you can use them on your skin and in your food.
