Just think of this as a chicken stew with portions already cut, and the more flavorful dark meat. The world is your oyster. Or, ahem, chicken. Chicken Marbella (with fruit, Spain), Fesenjan (with pomegranates, Persia), Musakhan (with onions and sumac, Arabia), with red bell peppers (Brazil or Balkans), with Dukkah seeds (Egypt), with Jerk spicing (Jamaica), with licorice & ginger (fusion, Vongerichten), et al.
