If properly stored (I use a cloth bag) they can dry out all the way in the refrigerator and be quite usable. If they are moist, or have poor air circulation, they will go very quickly.
I can't see them, but I can tell you that once sliced, they do turn a darker brown fairly quickly. If they aren't slimy, smelly or moldy, I wouldn't hesitate to cook with them. They should have an expiration date if they came in a box. Have you checked that?
