using all purpose flour instead of whole wheat flour

I have a cookie recipe that calls for whole wheat flour, can I use all purpose flour instead?

You can. What kind of recipe is it? It will affect the flavor (less nutty) and they will have a lighter texture. They will not be as "healthy" but should be fine.

For cookies it shouldn't be a problem, but what type of cookie are you making? It does affect the flavor.
