can i use cream of chicken to replace alfredo sauce

First question... what are you making Chantae? If you're making some thing specific where the alfredo features prominently into the recipe e.g. fettuccine alfredo, I'd say no. If you're looking for a generic cream base to add to something else, like a casserole, you could just make a plain white sauce with cornstarch, butter and milk and maybe toss in a little cheese

I wouldn't because they do not taste remotely the same. Alfredo is a cheese sauce.
