I am making braised short ribs for Christmas. Recipe is from Naomi Pomeroy. Can I do the initial braising the night before, then reheat the next day?

Yes. Braises and stews generally improve with an overnight rest. Espepically with tougher cuts of beef. You will find that the flavors deepen
