I accidentally put butter on you cornish hens in the rotisserie too early. Now the skin is burning but the inside has at least 1 hour. What to do?

Cover in foil and then remove the foil at the end to allow the skin to finish crispy. Unless it's already too toasted. Good luck.

Thanks! I ended up transferring it from the rotisserie oven to my regular oven at 350 degrees.
