nope, nope nope... Kaffir lime leaves and curry leaves have no common flavor at all!

you're better off omitting curry leaves in any recipe that calls for it (except when it involves them as the main ingredient)

These leaves have different tastes, but are often used in similar recipes, which allow you to omit if you can't find them.
So the lime leaves will probably add something nice to your dish, but feel free to adapt as your taste and shopping permit.

I'm pretty sure it is a decent substitute. Go for it.

I can't find curry leaves at my Asian Mkt but I do have kaffir leaves. Too bad we can't trade. I did find an article on Food 52 called - Curry LeAves & Your Favorite Ways to Use Them. Hope that helps. Good luck!!

Misread your question but the Food 52 article still helps. Also found curry leaves on amazon.

Posted my question twice (by mistake) and did it wrong both times.
...Can I sub lime ( not like) leaves for curry leaves? Thanks.
