Resources for cooking with seaweed?

Does anyone have a good resource for seaweed 101? We love snacking on nori sheets (but they can get expensive) and I'd love to make homemade miso soup, seaweed salad, and just incorporating various seaweeds in general into our diet, but I'm intimidated and not sure where to start!

This looks really cool: http://seaweedrecipes.co.nz/

But I think you might be looking for something like this: http://www.wildplantforager.com/blog/treasures-from-the-sea-how-to-harvest-and-dry-your-own-seaweed

Search under "seaweed foraging". Lots of blogs devoted to just this. If you live in or near San Francisco, check out foragesf.com. They offer classes.

I don't have seaweed recipes as such, apart from making dashi & oknomiyaki, but here's a link to my Japanese recipes page that you might find useful: https://linsfood.com/japanese/
Like you, we love seaweed, I just tend to crush them and sprinkle them, whether over noodles, soup, stir fries or salads.
