I'm making banana cream pie using gram cracker crust. Can I make this the day before

It will be much fresher if you make the components ahead but don't assemble until the day of.

I make the pastry cream and a shortbread crust the day before. I assemble everything (plus bananas & whipped cream) the day of. I would think you could do the same with the graham cracker crust.
