I've noticed the few attempts I've made to do this have turned out somewhat underbaked following the original recipe parameters of temperature and length of bake. Thank you for the help.

You might want to use an oven thermometer to see if your oven is calibrated properly. There is no reason using a different milk should affect the temperature or baking time you need.
