Can't remember the name of this cookbook in a food52 article...

I read an article about an old French cookbook written in the 1800s I think? About how to have dinner on the table fast and in the introduction he talks about how fast cooking means either frying, sauteing or boiling so start water or oil right when you get home. Something like "French Cooking in 30 Minutes."
