A question about a recipe: Frybread

I have a question about the recipe "Frybread" from Erin McDowell. How large is "large"? I want to make these in an appetizer portion. Thanks!

For appetizers, I'd recommend portioning the dough into 20 pieces instead of 8. Fry time will be reduced, start with about 45 seconds-1 minute per side!
