I want to make a German Chocolate Cake without nuts. How would you make frosting without nuts- increase coconut or just leave nuts out?

I would just increase the coconut...there needs to be matter to keep the consistency. I would use unsweetened coconut though since sweetened would be too overwhelming in that quantity.
