Box Brownie Mix question about Fudgy VS Cakelike
I like my Brownies crisp like a hard cookie on the outside and bottom, but soft and chewy in the center. If a box says it has a recipe for fudgy and another for cakelike, which do I choose, or will both be wrong?

Still go with mixed labelled fudgy.
Then experiment.
use a wider, shallower baking pan.
Or try a minute or so under the broiler at end of baking.
Or bake in muffin tins to get higher ratio of crust to crumb.
