Box Brownie Mix question about Fudgy VS Cakelike

I like my Brownies crisp like a hard cookie on the outside and bottom, but soft and chewy in the center. If a box says it has a recipe for fudgy and another for cakelike, which do I choose, or will both be wrong?

Still go with mixed labelled fudgy.
Then experiment.
use a wider, shallower baking pan.
Or try a minute or so under the broiler at end of baking.
Or bake in muffin tins to get higher ratio of crust to crumb.

I'd go with the fudgy option but you may need to try both ways before you find the way you like the best.

Tried the Fudgy today. Definitely not what I wanted. Was Totally soft and gooey through and through. Not crisp at all.
