Do I have to cook pumpkin pie as soon as I make it

Pie is made can I refrigerate it uncooked and bake later

If you keep the crust and filling separate until baking time, you can.
When ready to bake, I usually blind bake the crust a few minutes on a baking sheet. Then remove, cool slightly, then pour filling into crust and bake.

I would. With the filling being liquid the crust, I would think, would gum up.
