Question about recipe: Sweet Potato Casserole with Brown Sugar Fluff-- make ahead?

Could the sweet potato base of this recipe be made ahead and frozen and/or refrigerated until ready to bake?

The base of the recipe can definitely be made ahead. You can refrigerate until Thursday or freeze and defrost in the fridge overnight. Be sure to save the fluff until the last minute. It will not hold up in the fridge or freezer and should be saved until the last minute.
