I normally cook a 5lb rib roast at 500* for 25 minutes (5 mins per pound), and then shut the oven off, closed door for 2 hours. This has produced great results. I need to cook two 5lb roast at the same time - Can I use the same method? If so during the initial 500* would I cook based on 5lbs (25mins) or 10 lbs (50mins)?
