Two 6lb. Prime Rib Roast

I purchased 2 six pound prime ribs. The bigger prime ribs were too lean. I plan on using the 500 degree method then turning the oven off for the remaining cooking time. Can I cook them together? Also do I treat it as a 6 lb roast or a 12 lb roast to calculate the cooking time?
