Can i use mexicana crema instead of sour cream to keep a cake moist

Was told to add sour cream to box cake mix to keep it moist - can i use mexicana crema instead?

Awesome! Thank you soo much!! Was worried because the crema is a lot runnier texture than the sour cream but thought the crema would taste better
