Looking for a recipe and technique for making teacakes (not muffins with odd moulded bottoms) w/ the Nordic Ware (mini) Bundt Teacakes & Candies Pan 🙏

I ordered the https://food52.com/shop... excited to make sweet little cakes to give at Valentines--and to have out on the desert table at future parties/holidays--but the recipe that came with the pan was for chocolate candies. There are teacakes in the photo (below) in the Food52 shop, so I know it's possible (and super cute!) I imagine any semi-dense teacake should work, but I have had limited success gauging how fun to fill these very mini bunts, and must have used a high-rise chocolate cake recipe because mine turned out like very strange muffins with the 'top' ~3x the size of the moulded cake beneath... as I work to iterate towards a better solution, any experiences and suggestions would be most appreciated!
