A couple months ago, I put some vegetable oil in a mason jar, covered it with saran wrap, and wrapped a rubber band around the top. Do you think it's still fine to use?

Unused opened veg oil, covered, is good for one year at room temp.
Used oil should be refrigerated Nd checked for any indications of decay (like smell) before using.
I think it keeps less than a year, but don't know how long.
Keep wine & water cool all day (yes, even at the beach).
