I have a question about the recipe "Lavender, Honey, and Buttermilk Bread Pudding" from Janelle, TheOtium. Could I use sourdough bread or would that taste weird?

Hmm, I usually find that in bread puddings, the custard flavor overpowers any flavor on the bread. So I suspect the sourdough would be okay, unless it's exceptionally sour.
