If I cooked a vegetable creole with vegetable stock for about 4 hours then left it out at room temp for 5 hours - toss it or enjoy?

I would definitely not feed it to the very young or the old. I can't remember if you freeze it now, if that will kill off any bacteria that may have started growing. Anyone know?
