I need to bring a 10lb rib roast to Thanksgiving dinner. Can I partially cook it at home then reverse sear it on a grill when I het there?
Hi Michael, I've never done it that way so doing some investigation! I'm not sure I'd finish on the grill-- might be best to cook in oven and take it straight from there so it "rests" during your travel time to Thanksgiving dinner. Grilling it after it's been partially cooked might make it tough and could reduce the chances of having a piece of meat that's cooked through evenly. If you really want to grill or sear, perhaps do that first and then finish in the oven!
