How can I get the flavor from a raw jalapeño pepper into already cooked chili

Shred or chop finely and reheat with the chili.
Use only outer skin for milder taste, seeds & core for stronger one

PS Make or use pickled jalapeno slices as a garnish.

Chop fresh raw jalapeños to the chili before serving? Or put on the table as a topping?
