Leaving out the malted milk powder...

This looks yummy but at least one person in my household doesn't like the flavor of malted milk. Would it work without it?

Hi Nancy! Yes, the recipe will work without the malted milk powder. If you want, you can swap in another flavoring—say, a spoonful of brown sugar and splash of vanilla extract.

    • Hi Liz! I went to two stores and couldn't find the malted milk: can I use a bit of Barley Malt syrup instead? Thanks!
