Can This reasonably be made vegan?

I'm thinking of making this for one of my wedding favors, but it would appeal most to my vegan guests. Could I replace the egg white with a flax egg or something vegan friendly?

I agree with Nancy, give aquafaba try. I worry that flax might get gritty/grainy when baked...plus I don't picture flax whipping up the way aquafaba or eggwhite does. Though I've never tried.

Haven't tried it myself, but aquafaba might work.
Worth a test run.
