Quick Question: After you run the tomato blender mixture through the sieve do you keep the watery mixture or the 'tomato pulp' that the sieve catches?

I am currently making this recipe but unsure whether to use the watery mixture or not!

You want what goes through- the sieve should just be catching things like pieces of skin and stems and seeds that you don't need.

ps- you'll need to force it through the sieve with a wooden spoon or rubber scraper to get the pulp through- a food mill or one of those French cone things would be better.

Pps- By Oaxacan Oregano I think she means Lippia Alba, which you have little chance of finding. Regular Mexican Oregano (Lippia Graveolens) or even European Oregano (Origanum Vulgare) will serve.
